Hike SEO vs Ranked AI

Hike SEO is one of the friendlier faces in small-business SEO: since 2017 it's served 12,000+ SMEs, and its current form pairs Kit - an AI SEO expert that builds your strategy, pinpoints what needs changing and implements updates at your command - with a dedicated human account manager and monthly calls. Single Site is $149/month ($89/month billed annually); Multi-site covers up to 3 websites at $299/month ($179 annually), with a 14-day money-back guarantee and no long-term commitment. It reviews well (4.9 from 390+ Google reviews). The comparison with Ranked AI is close and worth drawing precisely, because both sell "done-for-you SEO" to the same buyer.

"At your command" is the key phrase

Hike's own product tour says it: Kit builds the strategy with your input, pinpoints changes, and implements them at your command. That's a genuinely good workflow for an owner who wants to stay in the loop - and it means the owner is still in the loop. You approve, you prioritize, you decide. The account manager manages the relationship; Kit does the labor you authorize.

Ranked AI removes the command step. The team plans, writes, edits, publishes, implements and indexes on a weekly cadence whether or not you log in, with everything visible in the included software and a human team reachable 24/5. For owners who'd rather run their business than supervise their SEO, that's the difference that matters.

Scope: the two deliverables Hike doesn't advertise

Two pillars of ranking competitively are conspicuously absent from Hike's public deliverables: published content at cadence and backlink acquisition. Its strength is guided on-page, local and AI-visibility optimization of what you have. Ranked AI's $99 includes both missing pillars - weekly human-edited articles and white-hat link outreach - alongside the on-page work, GBP management and weekly AI-platform indexing with llms.txt. That's the wider program at $50/month less than Hike's single-site price.

Where Hike genuinely fits

If you want to learn SEO while it gets done - Kit explains what's changing and why, reviewers praise it as an education - Hike is one of the best teachers in the category, and the account-manager relationship suits owners who want a monthly call with a person. Its 9 years of small-business focus shows in the product's approachability.

When to choose each
