Okara vs Ranked AI
Okara is an AI CMO that drafts marketing across 10+ channels for your approval, from free to $99/month. Ranked AI executes the search half for you. Okara
Published Updated
Okara pitches itself as "the AI CMO": 10+ agents covering SEO, GEO, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Hacker News, influencer outreach, UGC video and long-form writing, plus a coding agent for technical SEO fixes, wired into Google Search Console and GA4. It's free to start with a paid Max tier around $99/month, used by 100,000+ users with logos like Razer and Kong on the homepage. The breadth is genuinely unusual. The comparison with Ranked AI turns on one word that appears throughout Okara's own feature list: "drafts."

The "$14,000/month job" claim, read closely
Okara's pricing table says it replaces a $14,000/month marketing function. But read its own agent descriptions: the SEO agent "drafts blog posts for your approval," the X agent "generates drafts you can edit and post yourself," the Reddit agent drafts replies "for you to review before publishing." What's actually replaced is the thinking and drafting portion of those salaries - the approving, editing, posting and follow-through comes back to you. For a solo founder with time and no budget, that's still a great trade, and Okara's testimonials (mostly solo devs and two-person teams) reflect exactly that user.
Ranked AI replaces the doing, in a narrower lane: content is edited and published by the team, fixes are implemented, links are earned by real outreach (not a "coming soon" agent), GBP is managed, and pages are indexed weekly on the AI platforms. You approve nothing on a Tuesday night.
Breadth vs depth
Okara covers channels Ranked AI deliberately doesn't - Reddit presence, X and LinkedIn drafting, influencer discovery, UGC clips. If your bottleneck is multi-channel idea generation, that breadth is real value at free-to-$99. If your bottleneck is search results - rankings, citations, leads - the depth question decides it: a drafting co-pilot moves search as fast as you execute its suggestions; a staffed service moves it every week regardless of your calendar. Frequently asked questions
How much does Okara cost?
Okara is free to start (no credit card), with a paid Max tier around $99/month unlocking higher usage across its agents. Its own comparison table positions that against the $14,000/month it estimates for the equivalent human marketing function.
Does Okara do the marketing work for you?
It drafts; you execute. By its own feature descriptions, the SEO agent drafts posts for your approval, the X and LinkedIn agents generate drafts you edit and post yourself, and the Reddit agent drafts replies for you to review. The coding agent can apply technical fixes, and backlink building is marked coming soon. It's a very capable co-pilot, not a done-for-you service.
What is the best alternative to Okara?
They solve different bottlenecks. If you need multi-channel drafting on a founder budget, Okara's breadth is hard to beat at free-to-$99. If you need the search channel executed - human-edited content published weekly, links earned by real outreach, fixes implemented, GBP managed, weekly AI platform indexing - Ranked AI does that for $99/month with a free trial. Some founders run both.
