Data Studio
Updated October 7, 2026
If you already have a dashboard in Google Data Studio, you can show it inside your project and on your report links. Each project can have one Data Studio report connected.
Connecting a report
Go to the Integrations tab of your project and open the Data Studio sub tab, then click Click here to connect your Data Studio report.
In Data Studio:
- Share the report. For it to show on your report links, choose Anyone with the link can view. A report shared only with specific people shows only to viewers who are signed into one of those Google accounts.
- Open File > Embed report and turn on Enable embedding.
- Copy the Embed URL (the embed code works too) and paste it into the field.
The report then appears on the Data Studio sub tab, live, with its own date controls. Use Open in Data Studio to jump to it, Replace to connect a different report, or Remove to take it off the project.
Showing it on report links
In the Reports tab, tick Data Studio under Report Sections. Report links generated after that show the dashboard as a live section at the end of the report. PDFs cannot show a live dashboard, so they carry a link to it instead.
Good to know
Data Studio adds a small "Data Studio" mark to every embedded report. It cannot be removed.
The dashboard is live: a report link opened in a month shows the dashboard's figures on that day, while the rest of the report is a snapshot from when it was generated.
This connection only displays your report. Ranked AI never reads or changes anything inside Data Studio.
