SEO Software (Self-Serve)

Ranked AI has two ways to run a project.

Managed service projects are the done-for-you plans (SEO from $99 per month, PPC from $99 per month, 7-day free trial, month to month). Our team does the work: weekly content, publishing, on-page and technical optimization, backlink outreach, AI search indexing and Google Ads management. The full software is included in every managed plan at no extra cost - nothing about your software use is billed separately. See SEO Service (Managed).

SEO Software projects are self-serve: simple SEO software for tracking, auditing and reporting, with no team work. Keyword rank tracking (desktop, mobile, Maps and AI Mode), AI visibility prompts, site audits, backlink monitoring, heatmaps, Google Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile integrations, reports, white label and our AI agent for guidance. Our team does no work on the site for software projects: no content, no publishing, no optimization, no outreach.

Getting the software

The software on its own is sold in the Marketplace. Open the SEO Software card and you land on the plan page: choose how many keywords and AI prompts you want to track, then pay by card or US bank account. There is no trial, because there is nothing to set up.

Once the plan is active, your projects overview gains a Software Suite tab. Click Add Project there - all you need is a project name and the website URL. The project appears right away and opens on its Rankings tab, ready for your keywords.

Pricing

Software is sold as prepaid blocks: $4.99 per month per 100 tracked keywords and $4.99 per month per 100 AI prompts. One plan covers every software project on your account, with unlimited websites and users.

  • Adding usage charges the full new month today and restarts your billing cycle. The unused days you had already paid for are credited, so nothing is paid twice.
  • Reducing usage takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current capacity until then.
  • Pausing a project stops all scanning and costs nothing. Its keywords and prompts stay stored and still count against your capacity.
  • Included with your plan: 5 audits and 5 backlink scans per project per day, and 100 heatmap scans per keyword block per billing period.
  • Any deposit balance on your account is applied to plan invoices automatically.

Managing your plan

The plan page in the Marketplace is the one place for your plan. Open it from the SEO Software card, the Manage Plan button on the Software Suite tab, Settings → Billing on any software project, or the Marketplace's Subscriptions table. There you can add or remove blocks (you see exactly what a change costs before confirming), open your card and invoices, or cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period and moves your software projects to Paused.

The Software Suite tab shows your Keyword Usage and Prompt Usage lines. To pause or reactivate projects yourself, tick them in the table and use Move to Paused / Move to Active.

Good to know

Each website is one software project: adding a domain your account already tracks opens the existing project instead of creating a second one. An account can have up to 500 software projects (contact us if you need more), with at most 30 new projects per hour. Paused projects count toward the limit; closed ones do not.

You can also create software projects from the AI Agent chat, from the ChatGPT app and MCP integration, or through the public API. Those don't ask for the plan first (up to 10 projects), but keywords, prompts, audits and scans stay locked until the account has one - each of those actions shows a "needs a plan" message with a link to the plan page. Team members can create software projects too; the project lands in the account owner's Software Suite, so one plan keeps covering everything.

Software projects have no Onboarding or Content tab, since there is no team work to set up. Everything else - Rankings, Audits, Backlinks, Integrations, Reports and Settings - is scanned on the same schedule as our service projects.

Moving a software project to the managed service

Any software project can be upgraded to the managed service at any time. Use the 'Need help? Add our SEO service' button at the top of the project (or open the project with ?addService=1 in the address bar) to pick an SEO plan and pay. The project keeps everything you have tracked and becomes a managed project; from then on our team does the work and the software is simply part of your service plan.
