How to Run Audits

On the 'Audits' tab in your project, you will be able to run basic, advanced or enterprise audits, depending on your preference.

It's important to note that on service projects we handle this for you proactively. But, if you'd like to run it yourself, you can. 😄 On SEO Software projects the audit is yours to run and act on - your plan includes 5 manual audits per project per day, and the monthly rescan runs on its own.

First, click the 'Start Audit' button, you'll then find a list of options for audit types, page amounts and preferences.

When you run the audit, it'll take a few minutes to process, depending on the size of your website. When it is processed, it'll display a list of critical, warning, notice and passed checks, along with the pages affected.

We do not show image links due to a very high false positive rate due to CDN's and external servers that host images.

Many audit issues might be incorrect. False positives are common with auditors. We have a dismiss button to dismiss a check, which moves it to passed. If you have any false positives, we let you know before dismissing them.

As a service, our job is to get everything that shows in the auditor fixed up. We handle this for you in the first month of a service plan.
