First Page Tracking
The First Page tab shows every non-branded keyword your site ranks on the first page of Google for. You'll find it under the Rankings tab on your project.
Unlike the Keywords sub-tab (where you choose which keywords to track), First Page discovers them for you: it reads your Google Search Console data and lists every search query where your site's average position is on page 1. Branded searches (your business name or domain) are filtered out automatically, so the list reflects the keywords our SEO work is winning for you.
What you'll see
- The growth chart - how many first page keywords you have over time, updated with every weekly scan. Switch to the chart view to see them broken down by position: #1, top 3 and top 10.
- The keyword table - each keyword with its average position, movement since the previous scan and impressions. Average position is the average across all searches for that keyword in Search Console during the scan window. You can add Clicks and CTR columns from the column settings.
- Date range - use the date picker to view any past week's snapshot or a custom period. History builds up automatically with each weekly scan.
- Exports - download the table as PDF, Excel or CSV.
How scanning works
Scans run automatically once a week, and your first visit to the tab triggers the initial scan (which also backfills up to a year of history for the chart). Want fresher numbers? Hit the rescan button any time - just note that Search Console data itself has a 2-3 day delay, so rescanning more than once a day won't change much.
Requirements
First Page tracking uses your Google Search Console connection. If you haven't connected it yet, the tab will walk you through it - it takes about a minute.
Adding it to reports
You can include a First Page section in your reports: on the Reports tab, tick "First Page" under Report Sections. Shareable report links get the growth chart, a summary and the full keyword table; PDFs include the summary and top keywords.
